Halyson takes it a step further by filming the process of taking his own photos in the streets, the wild, or anywhere else. He uploads videos of the process to TikTok and photos to Instagram. Sure, the process may appear strange, but what matters is the outcome. And he has 1.4 million Instagram followers to prove it.
In the words of Halyson “In 2016, I became interested in photography. I was studying physical education while still in college. I’ve always been fascinated by image editing and processing. I was always getting compliments from friends and family on how beautiful my photos were, so I decided to buy a camera one day. I began to research and analyze the market. I was robbed in the early months; they took everything. I went six months without it, then got stronger and bought it all again. And now, after much hard work, dedication, and study, I am reaping the benefits. I decided to discontinue my studies in order to devote myself entirely to photography.”
